This interview makes me so so sad as someone who’s been here since her “just a waste” & “break it off” era because she has so much talent and intellect with the stuff she makes. Down from the beats to the lyrics and concepts. And every “bigger” artist she collaborates with gets all the credit she should have. Which isn’t their fault, but it still makes me upset because what generally ends up happening is the feature ends up being known for HER song. But i’m also glad she doesn’t mind the journey, it’s moreso the circumstances she explains as to why it’d take this long.
