Saying you bought a home from the 1700’s and then revealing it was built in 1792 is like saying you’re a millennial and born in December of 1996 lol. Enjoying the videos though!

I often wonder how people from that time period would think of the world today

As someone who loves ancestry, you’re living my DREAM of living in an older home and knowing the owners. I would absolutely frame a picture of them and put it somewhere in the home.

You just came across my FYP this morning and I find your content fascinating. Being a history buff who loves exploring old houses, and yes cemeteries as well and who also lives in New England, Cape Cod to be specific I will follow you.

I used to walk around hidden cemeteries in Massachusetts when I was young. I’d have my Dad’s film camera with b&w film. I still do it to this day, all over the world

As a mother it’s always so shocking to remember that losing a child used to be common, if not expected. So heartbreaking.

I LOVE old cemeteries too! One of my favorite school assignments was our English teacher taking us to the oldest cemetery in town where we chose a grave and did a rubbing of the gravestone. We then had to research the time period and make up a whole story about their life and how they died and it was SO COOL!

Have you looked at gravefinder.com? My daughter was able to find the graves of her 4x great grandparents. We visited a couple of weeks ago! So cool. Same city we live in! We’re in the PNW and they came here from Canada in the 1880s!
