fun fact the tungsten rod weapon used in ghost is a real weapon that was tested in the 60s if i remember correctly but the weapon wasent as powerful in ghost and extremely expensive and it’s nickname was “rods from god”

As someone who’s step dad worked on the star wars project during the Regan admin..yeah..the unknown is far scarier. Rods from God is already a scary idea that was shelved..not funny canceled, just shelved until a later date. 😳

America has had tungsten rods in space for quite some time. It was a loophole in the prohibition against weapons in space. A super dense rod that can drop out of orbit is technically not a weapon even if it has the same capabilties
