I think some of the Swifties reach a little too far to try to justify their love for something that others don’t like. I’m a huge Swiftie, have been for almost 20 years, and I have several songs on the Showgirl and Encore that I really love, and others I don’t. Idgaf is someone hates in it, whatever, doesn’t change the fact that I like it. Just like Swifties say “if you hate it just don’t listen to it”, I say the inverse for us: “if you love it, just listen to it”. We don’t need to defend her honor, she’s not a damsel in distress
