Oh I wanted to be grown so bad. I wanted to be like a neighbor I had with hips and big legs and ankle bracelets and a silk robe and short cut. Now I’m almost 40 and I sit on my porch, sip my wine, play my old school and say “mmmhmmm” in my low grown voice with my big butt. And at ANY given time there can be a pot of pinto beans , collard or cornbread on the stove. Free of generation curses and bs. I love it HERE.

I agree with some of what u say, agism is stupid, but lets not forget there are different way to age not only being a mother or owning a business...there are ppl who are genuinely happy without à typical "adult" life, enjoying a life that could seem "teenage"...so I agree so much with most of ur take but SOME of it sounds bully in a teenage way as well like "im better than them"...do you see my point?
