I started sending my son to visit his grandparents (both sides) for 2 weeks every summer and it was SO HELPFUL. Glorious sleep in mornings, and calm evenings 😂

Huh? This is all the internet ever talks about. Obviously this does not apply to parents without help, but here to say that this is not everyone’s experience. Maybe the last one pertaining to PTO for working moms especially. I will speak for myself and my closest friends who have become moms in the past two years. This is not a universal experience.

I just spent a girl’s weekend bed rotting and at the pool and spa. It was heaven. But my kids are 16,19, and 21!

Hear me out - your life will change when all of your kids are in Kindergarten or older. (A mom told me that when my kids were small and I was drowning and I DO get an occasional rot hour or two that I pre-schedule 😂)
