Sometimes I get distracted when I walk from the bathroom to my bedroom after getting out of the shower and start doing something else, like I see a pile of clothes on the floor so I’ll start folding them, then while I’m folding the clothes I remember that I need to do my laundry and on my way to the laundry machine I’ll see some dirty dishes that I need to take into the kitchen and then after like 40 minutes I realize I’ve been running around my apartment naked the whole time💀

Duck likes being clean. Duck finds showering exhausting. Duck procrastinates doing other things until Duck realizes Duck is going to be late to work. Duck gets ready. Duck is still late to work.

duck does not want to shower because it is duck's wash day for hair which means duck has to spend an hour after shower treating, fixing and styling curly duck hair. then has to spend the next several duck hours waiting for curly duck hair to dry which means sitting in positions duck doesn't like to make sure hair doesn't ruin, duck then has to go to bathroom several more times to adjust and re-wet hair to make sure it dries correctly to duck's standards. duck doesn't want to spend 4+ hours attending to tedious task so duck instead will procrastinate like duck's life depends on it
