@ggir4g: Hümaşah Sultan was an Ottoman princess of the 16th century, the daughter of Sultan Murad III and Safiye Sultan. She was born around 1564 and was one of Murad III’s daughters. Her siblings included the future Sultan Mehmed III, as well as Ayşe Sultan and Fatma Sultan. Hümaşah belonged to the Ottoman dynasty and was the granddaughter of Sultan Selim II and Nurbanu Sultan. Her mother was Safiye Sultan, one of the most prominent women of the Ottoman court, who later became Valide Sultan during the reign of her son, Mehmed III. Thus, Hümaşah Sultan was the sister of Sultan Mehmed III and the daughter of Safiye Sultan and Sultan Murad III.
