lwk the mail i wrote to them: Dear Chai Support, I’m honestly very disappointed with the direction Chai has taken. Previously, users could send unlimited messages while still seeing advertisements. Then this was changed to a limited number of messages per day. Now, instead of simply allowing users to continue using the app with ads, you have introduced coins that users have to purchase in order to keep chatting without a subscription. At this point, it feels like users are being forced to pay if they actually want to use the app normally. Not everyone has the money to pay for a subscription or constantly purchase coins just to send messages. I understand that Chai needs to make money, and I have no problem with advertisements being used for that purpose. But taking away unlimited messaging and replacing it with increasingly restrictive limits and paid coins feels extremely unfair to your users. Why not keep a free option with advertisements, like you had before? Users could watch ads while still being able to chat, instead of being stopped from using the app unless they pay. Please reconsider this system. Not everyone can afford to pay, and free users should not feel like they are being pushed out of the app simply because they cannot spend money on it. I would genuinely like to see Chai return to a fairer free option, such as unlimited messaging with advertisements. Sincerely, A disappointed Chai user
