Your husband’s wrongdoing does not have to become your own wrongdoing. If the marriage is no longer working, there are ways to address it. You can confront the issue, seek counselling, separate, or make whatever decision is right for you. But deliberately sleeping with another man while you are still in the marriage can create another layer of betrayal, pain, and consequences. A woman carries a lot within her family. Protect your dignity, protect your boundaries, and don’t allow somebody else’s bad behaviour to make you lose your own values. You can be hurt. You can be angry. You can even decide that you’ve had enough. But whatever decision you make, make it with wisdom not revenge. This message is not to excuse a cheating husband. Cheating is wrong, whether it is done by a man or a woman. My point is simply: don’t answer betrayal with another betrayal.
