Y’all there is no “right” answer, the whole point is to see how your brain reacts to the task while also noting which pictures you’re more likely to match. The goal is to see whether you have the brain reactivity linked to negative affective bias that has been established by the observational study. ie, does your brain show that you consistently see things in a negative perspective when presented with this task

my adhd kicked in mid story, so I went tangential. I imagined the internal world of a rat, and imagined it going, "wow, those cats are really pretty, why have I been so afraid of them?" such a tragic story. anyway, I thought, previously, that they were attracted to the smell of cat urine. I double checked, it's both, kinda, they think cat urine smells sexy apparently, so I guess I should modify that to "wow, that cat is hot, why have I been so afraid of them?"

This test feels a little, bias? Looking at the pictures, the only part of the left image that resembles the top image is one eye. The right image, the mouth, the nose, the eyebrows and the other eye all match the same expression as the top image

To me, the top looks like a combination of scared and angry but mostly angry. Maybe angry cuz she’s shocked. Bottom right looks absolutely furious and bottom left looks scared, shocked, or maybe disgusted
