Exactly! They read off the notes then you have to go teach yourself. On top of that, the tests or quizzes be nothing like what they went over in class.

Professors aren't really teachers. They are lecturers. In Higher education it's expected for you to learn yourself and come prepared for discussion and questions

I had the same bio professor every year of college.. took his 100, 200, 300, 400, and even graduate level courses taught by him. One day when I was a senior (very close to graduation), people were meticulously taking notes and he joked “I can’t believe I’m teaching you all the same PowerPoint that I haven’t changed any of slides since the early 90s” this was 2017 Drexel university 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
