Soulmates. To me their relationship is bigger than romance. They are meant to encounter each other because neither of them can become their fullest selves without the other. Its like u meet someone that can see a part of u that nobody else can see. When they sit at d same piano, they become one musical conversation. i was literally thinking this. their bond is so beyond all these labels. jeongyo coming back and wanting to take revenge pio can also be seen as him wanting to connect with pio in the most twisted of ways. feel this exact pain that i felt!!! see what kind of hell i was in!! its so beautifully haunting

I actually shared this same thought in my previous comment, that they are soulmates, and honestly, your analysis is one of the reasons I started following you. 🥹❤️Because very few people can truly understand a connection like theirs and see beyond the usual definition of romance. JY and PO are not lovers,even less friends.From their first meeting,we see that they want to play piano together and they even made a wish that they should play together in four hands duo again. Their encounter is meant to happen.I really think that in any timeline,from their childhood to their adulhood,they MUST cross paths.In this story,their is their bond,they grow together,would burn themselves just to be the fire that keeps the other warm.This kind of love and friendship is amazing. This mini-series also showcases the influence adults have on their children.Both of their parents are neglectful of JO'S and PO's feelings.PO has some mental and psychological things to resolve.JY DEEPLY loves and hates PO. Their relationship is fascinating.The actor's acting is mind-blowing.I literally FELT the tension and anxiety through my TV,I couldn't blink and my heart was pounding.Their chemistry is indescribable.This show keeps me on my toes.I RARELY finish movies but THIS got me waiting for every eps.

Funny thing both can’t be in a happy relationship with any romantic partner if they haven’t made peace with each other first… If they’re just friends and are having issues, they can always go to their various partners for a moment of peace of mind but that’s not the case for these two… In other words they’re soulmates, they just need each other. I do feel that when one is able to delve deep into their artistic side, they can tend to be much more open to sexualities not having to be defined so clearly. So i think that’s what makes this ambiguity so interesting and unique for the audience because this is rarely shown.

They are soulmates but can’t accept that even if they do everything soulmates do 😕 also the story has a lot of insinuation about what happened that the show didn’t show but because people didn’t SEE how much they were intimate they concluded that it’s a bromance. Like they did with untamed. Netflix even showed how they suddenly were wearing the clothes of the other without explaining why they removed clothes when they were in the piano room…
