once you get to Colorado City, i highly suggest doing daytime driving from then on up. because once you get past Cheyenne Wy you will be in deer country until you hit Coeur d'Alene. Also always keep a eye on the weather until you get passed Cheyenne. from there this time of year you should be fime. But also be very aware of I 25 between Ft. Collins and Cheyenne... if you havent noticed a theme... get through cheyenne as fast as possible. lol

Trust me on this. . Stop in Glenwood Springs CO. You can take a drive up valley , have breakfast in Carbondale or Basalt and and after breakfast. its a 30 minute drive to Aspen. You can take the gondola to the top of Aspen mountain and just walk around Aspen. You will absolutely love it

it's going to be cold but you got to go to St Elmo. it's up in the mountains and you can feed the Chipmunks. hopefully it isn't closed yet. if you like the hot springs you should go to Buena Vista. or Idaho Hot Springs it's right at the base of the mountain before you go up to Blackhawk. Halloween is coming up so Six Flags has their Halloween fest going on. they had the Zombie Crawl coming up in the 16th Street Mall in Denver. there's so much I can name

go to Glenwood Springs. the vapor caves and Iron Mountain hot springs are so relaxing and they have adventure park up on top of the mountain.
