i did not want to see this at all. ended up watching it at the drive ins w my kid. he wanted to see it but was asleep before the therapist goes in. i liked it. was totally surprised by that.

I LOVED the backrooms I came into it knowing it wouldn't be an exact story of the progression of the backrooms but it lays amazing ground work for the lore. it reinforced everything KP was aiming for, no we didn't follow the sane people or get answers for certain things. but what it did was give us the world it was in. I'm still not absolutely sure the therapist made it out alive and I love that uncertainty

Creepy, yes. I didn't care enough about the characters to care about what happened to them. No real ending, so many unanswered questions. It was ok but I was underwhelmed.
