I think this one is the most sonically and thematically compelling of the four. I still think Babylon is my favorite, but this is a close second. In some ways it reminds me of like "invisible string" and "happiness" in the way she's revisiting the past from a new place in life. I love the growth and vulnerability of exploring that.

I haven't seen anyone connect Pink Clouding to Maroon, but that's what I thought when I first heard it. Like how it's somehow a sequel to it or references it. Maybe Maroon is also about Tom Hiddleston?

I have a way different theory. there's a line right after the bridge that turns the tone down and days "but it didn't mean nothing just cause i could leave it" and sounds like TTPD down bad "leaving me safe and stranded". we all agree down bad is probably about matty Healy... what if she tried to rebound off him with someone as just a fling but the guy was way too nice?
