@twinsplusoneequals5: Mitochondrial differences in Down syndrome are real—but does that mean supplements actually help? I have three evidence-based answers, including an important warning about methylene blue. Promising science does not always equal a proven—or safe—treatment. Save this before buying another “mitochondrial” supplement. #DownSyndrome #MethyleneBlue #MitochondrialHealth #MedicalEducation #DisabilityAdvocate

How does one find out if their child has mitochondrial disease?

Is that the same as TNI stuff? We don’t do that but I know a lot of people act like it’s the golden thing. But I was told by doctors that not all children need it. How do you test to know if they have mitochondria issues? My son is so well communication wise and understands so much

Is this the TNI stuff? Any supplements you recommend? He takes multivitamin, iron (deficiency). DS clinic recommended omega. Yet to add that 🙃
