Agree to an extent but most of us spend a large percentage of our lives behind the wheel. I don't think it is unreasonable to want something that makes that time more enjoyable/tolerable. Obviously putting yourself in a bad financial position for a depreciating asset is a bad decision, but if I can improve my quality of life without derailing my financial goals, I'm doing it
