Trump can withhold diesel from countries and then he has them over a barrel. He can get them to agree to unfair trade agreements just so they can get the diesel to keep that country moving. Trump is always looking for the scam. Sad part is people around the world will freeze either due to lack of heating oil or due to high cost of oil. One way or the other lives will be lost.

those companies exporting fuel are getting a good price for it, if they're banned from exporting they're gonna be loosing profits, so not sure the price will fall too much

When it hurts enough, you'll be looking at hydrogen for heavy equipment, electric for passenger vehicles. Ending the wars won't bring prices down because the production infrastructure damaged or destroyed by the wars will take years to repair or replace.
