Apparently when my aunt went into labor the nurse that brought her back was also about to pop and some way some how my aunts labor triggered the nurses water to break and they both ended up in L&D together 😭🤣😭

One of my favourite births as a midwife was the one I did at about 28 weeks pregnant. It was beautiful to be with the woman as she birthed while I was on the same journey. My belly was a bit in the way though so I decided after that I’d move to clinic for the rest of the pregnancy 😂 still such a lovely memory. Clinic was wonderful too because women seemed to just feel immediately at ease seeing my belly when they came in.

one of my nurses was the same week I was when I needed an er c section. she is the one who kept me calm and made me feel seen and heard. while everyone was saying we needed to act now she told me I had all the time in the world I needed. I know I didn't but HEARING it helped and she knew that
