A lot of it comes down to projection and deflection to avoid accountability for our own behaviour. It’s easier to make someone else the villain than to look inward and do the work on ourselves ✌🏻

i think it's more they dated someone with narcissistic or psychopathic tendencies. it's a bit like the spectrum, the majority of people will show some symptoms but that doesn't mean they are actually that

I will say the term narcissist is over used , but to be diagnosed one you have to meet 7 of the 9 traits . That doesn’t mean most people or men don have 5-6 of them .
