When God is leading you into a new beginning, you may first go through these four things. First, a door closes. An opportunity you worked hard for suddenly disappears. A relationship ends. A plan you thought would succeed falls apart. Do not be too quick to think: “Has God forgotten me?” Some doors close because they are protecting you. Some doors close to remind you: This may not be the path you should keep walking. Second, you enter a season of waiting. You have prayed, but you still cannot see the answer. You have tried, but your circumstances have not changed yet. The hardest part of waiting is not simply having no answer. It is learning to keep trusting God even when you cannot see what He is doing. Third, some relationships begin to change. Some people slowly grow distant. Some relationships are no longer what they used to be. Not every departure means betrayal. Some people were only meant to walk with you for part of the journey. When something needs to end, do not keep holding on to it. Because if you keep living in the past, it becomes difficult to see the road ahead. Fourth, a new direction begins to appear. Little by little, you may begin to see new opportunities, new ideas, new relationships, and even a path you had never considered before. Isaiah 43:19 KJV says: “Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it?” Sometimes, you only understand later why certain doors had to close first. If you believe God is still in control of your path, write: “Lord, I trust You to lead me into a new beginning.” And share this with someone who is going through a difficult season. If you would like to study God’s Word more deeply, pray together with brothers and sisters, understand how to seek God’s will through waiting and major life changes, and prepare for the return of the Lord Jesus, you are welcome to join our free online Bible study group.
