@syeds_wealth_blueprint: The number that should terrify you about this stock market rally — 93% The number that should terrify every investor right now is 93% — the share of S&P 500 gains since late July coming from just 5 stocks, with Microsoft alone accounting for 181 of the index's 330 point advance. The percentage of stocks above their 200-day moving average dropped from 73% to 51% even as the index hits new highs. The 10-year Treasury hit 5.23%, oil spiked above $108 a barrel, and the Fed is signaling a 70% chance of another October rate hike. A former hedge fund manager breaks down why this narrow rally resembles 2000 more than a healthy bull market — and what it means for your portfolio right now. Not Financial Advice. No Positions. normally gold would be a hedge, but right now with bond rates so high, even gold is under pressure. agree with you about defensive sectors. Short term bonds are also looking attractive

401K money is considered dumb money because the three largest investment institutions in the world Vanguard Black Rock and State Street take that 401K money every month and they pump the same stocks over and over again they're all in on it together and then every 20 years you see these companies drift away a perfect example is like GE that was The Golden Child for years and years and years and all of a sudden if you were the last one out left holding the bag your Investments didn't do well
