@levelsnetwork: “IVAN IN THE PRESSER, JUST ALL CLASS.” 👏 An awful moment in rugby league. 💔 Mase and Scope reflect on Nathan Cleary going down, the impact it had on his family and teammates, and Ivan having to rally his troops and continue coaching through it all. 🏉 The boys also praise the way Ivan handled himself afterwards, including the respect he showed Newcastle and the way they handled the second half. Another representation of what makes the Panthers so great — and what makes Ivan such a good coach. 👏❤️‍🩹

indiebynight :

the team couldn't play on. Edwards was shattered.

Alauni Livet :

you can see when they came back the second half they were not the same after facing their heartbreaking coach

money man :

Think people underestimate how mentally rattled the panthers were after that and having to continue with the game. Nothing taken from how awesome the knights were but you could see the lads were definitely not up to par knowing he wouldn’t be back

50sene :

Should’ve kept luai, he would’ve made them better after loosing Cleary

pacz :

When Cleary went out so did the composure

John Smith's :

the best news ever ❤️

Bluey :

Ivan sent him out with a broken foot... 😳

🌬Taryne🖤 :

that injury rattled his whole team. them boys were not the same after that injury. Ivan is an absolute gentleman and absolute rock for his team and especially his son.

CLB2504 :

Ivan gets paid good money to be a professional. Just what he did. I’m sure the team will need to learn to live without Nathan for a few months in the new year. Be an interesting watch

Samtd 25 :

Penrith still have winner mentality

j4mieRoberton :

Luckily , he conquered the game prior to the injury

donna :

Ivan Cleary is a class act 👍🏈🫡

Garth Connell :

Ivan is the general.. He did well but it was a tough time for him.. shows how much respect he has .. 💯 per cent a general for his soldiers

matt.hc4 :

To eradicate that tackle, introduce a system where the punishment depends on the injury caused, the player comes back when the injured player does, plays Reggie’s til then, no injury 1 week in Reggie’s, they will learn quickly,

ElixirsAu :

Jodes.aussie.girl🇦🇺💜🖤 :

this broke me so much

Sector7 :

And then having to do the press afterwards

Ry Ry :

Anyone think Ivan will be NSW coach at some point ??

Loolooagain25 :

The panthers were in shock you could tell knights had it easy in the end

John Smith's :

Let's go. Newcastle. for the grand final win.

KZB :

QUEENSLANDER!!!

My daily diary :

As a fan I was heartbroken watching at home imagine the family and the team mates on the field … the team was dis regulated after Cleary went down!!! They were unable to hold themselves together. Cleary is the glue, that player that guides the team and plays on field, he is amazing to watch as a player… Ivan and Nathan great role models, great men! I’m sick of the haters, this has made me realise how awful ppl can be to good ppl

user1054758308315 :

Why isn’t anyone talking about how Andrew Johns literally called for them to take him out. He predicted the game and outcome. As Geoff Toovey says. Thats ridiculous. There needs to be an investigation

Brandon :

Wtf was he doing out there in the first place with a broken foot on the other leg .. ffs where is the duty of care … obviously not at the panthers

I dont like Penrith at all, but i am human it was terrible seeing a professional player go down felt so sad for his family, how you take this nightmare how's Ivan knowing everyone is watching him thinking this is my fault for sending him out there while he should have been resting for the grand final if Nathan dont play Penrith win the game, why they wouldn't had to feel what they did simple as that and if they lost big shit, Nathan be still playing the world cup for Australia, teams they have to start realising and taken care of your players most are still kids going through shit i know they get paid well they are humans remember that next time Penrith
