if you played genshin for 5 years, you’re walking past probably around 1000-2000 books that contain multiple paragraphs of lore. in every location in the game. people do not realize how much lore they have in just writing

a small piece of side quest that seem relatively insignificant in genshin has about 20 other related plot points that are connected with something bigger, deeper, and darker in some way that seems totally ridiculous.

arguably genshin should be higher.. theres not only 80+ hours(ish?) of archon quests, but probably over 100 hours of story, side, and character quests, plus lots of books and notes scattered all over the map.

you would be surprised. remember, genshin is a Chinese game, and those who have interacted with Chinese medias before knows that they don't play with cosmology and world building. story telling is a whole nother story lmao.
