As someone who has Spidey over Batman any day Batman has way better villains and Spidey has some amazing (pun not intended) villains but it’s a common opinion for a reason that DC has better villains and Marvel has better heroes Batman has like majority of the most iconic comic villains ever

Batman has the better rogues. Think of this way. Batman villains can carry their own projects. Ex: Joker movie, The Penguin show etc. meanwhile, look at the Sony verse. It doesn’t work.

It’s cool how most of Batman’s rogues challenge specific character traits he has. Joker challenges his morality, Scarecrow challenges his mental fortitude, Bane challenges his physical strength, Riddler challenges his intellect ect. It’s not simply being that the villain is over or under powering him, they bring separate and specific problems for Batman.
