Honest review for my trip with Air France from Manchester Airport to Paris Charles de Gaulle: - The flight began boarding on time. Despite costing slightly more than budget airlines, I like to travel with Air France due to their kind staff and extra luggage allowance. Even for short-haul flights passengers are allowed to bring a personal bag and a hand luggage that can weigh up to 12kg. The staff has also never given me any trouble for carrying an extra bag in which I keep any gifts/snacks in.🧳 - For some reason, whenever I fly to Paris, the plane is never connected to the airport with a walk way and always requires taking the stairs to the plane. This is usually not an issue for me but for those travelling with heavy carry ons or young families, I can imagine it being a bit challenging. 🚶🏽 - As someone over 6 foot tall, it's getting harder to travel in economy. For short flights like this I can manage, but I may need to start upgrading for future long-haul flights. 💺 - I have made this journey over 5 times in the last year (and will continue to do so in the coming years) but I've never had a flight taking off on time or reach Paris at the defined arrival time. Delays cause me a lot of issues as I'm no longer able to take public transport by the time I arrive. On this occasion I had to spend £57/€64 to book a taxi to get to my destination after a discount (thanks @Bolt France)! ⏰🚕 - The silence in the air after take off is arguably my favourite part of flying. The flight team dimmed the lights for anyone trying to get a quick nap and the person next to me decided to take full advantage of this. - Time for food. Although the flight is only about 1 hour, Air France does go the extra step to provide some refreshments included in the price of the ticket. 🍴 - Sandwich was pretty dry. Next time just stick to the Emmental sandwich please.🥪 - Arrived in Paris (35 minutes late).🕥 Overall my experience with @Air France is fairly positive although I think they need to work on their timings to avoid any inconvenience to their passengers.
