An important rule with foraging is leaving enough for next time. Don't over forage.

Do not use plastic bags, use a proper basket to collect mushrooms It helps the spores spread again in the forest

The one you shouldn’t eat is Amanita Muscaria also called the Fly Agaric (the Mario mushroom) and it causes intense gastric pain.

Your culinary school is awesome, that would be so cool going foraging instead of having store bought some

Use a weaved basket that way when you walk around with your foraged mushrooms their spores can spread and the population of them can grow

when picking up mushrooms please use a braided basked or something with holes so the spores can fall back to the ground. Fun fact: in my cpuntry it is actualy illegal to pick up mushrooms in a plastic bag or any other bag

nooo dont pull out the mushrooms from the ground, that damages the root network. Use a knife and cut at the base. (My grandma was a huge mushroom foraging lover)
