@buzzingforhorror: For real 😭😭😭 ‘Bride of Chucky’ is where the franchise really started embracing its campy, chaotic side, turning Chucky into more than just a killer doll and giving him an equally unhinged partner in Tiffany, played by Jennifer Tilly. After Tiffany resurrects Chucky, he kills her and transfers her soul into a bride doll, setting up one of horror’s strangest couples as they hit the road with an unsuspecting young couple. Released in 1998 and directed by Ronnie Yu, the movie leans heavily into dark comedy, gore and the dysfunctional relationship between Chucky and Tiffany, helping push the series into the more self-aware territory it would explore in ‘Seed of Chucky’. #chucky #thebrideofchucky #horror
