AD being “healthy” can mean so many different things to different people. For me, being healthy is moving a lot, eating well and having fun. I refuse to do any exercise I don’t enjoy, so you won’t see me in the gym very often. I love activity based exercise that feels sociable as well like tennis and padel. Aside from that I walk my dog everyday and often have little solo dance parties in my kitchen lol. My philosophy around food is to eat what I want whilst also being aware of keeping it varied and nutrient dense. If I have something that might be lacking in lots of nutrients, i.e fast food or things with few ingredients then I tend to make up for it later in the day. The easiest way to approach this is by layering in nutrients throughout the day. Using @flora_uki Buttery is a great way to do this as it has been fortified with Omega 3 so can help give you that little boost every time you use it. I often layer with things like nuts and seeds and herbs - a dash here and there just builds on your nutrient intake per day! This recipe is a greek inspired buttery, lemony, herby chicken breast on a creamy yoghurt base with a lovely colourful salad of sprouted lentils, cucumber, tomato, onion, radish, garlic and herbs. All wrapped up in a sourdough pita! Delish! Ingredients: 1 chicken breast 1 knob of Flora Buttery 1 tsp oregano yoghurt base: 2 tbsp greek yoghurt 1 garlic clove half a lemon juiced salad: handful of tomatoes 1/2 a red onion handful of radishes 3 tbsp sprouted lentils 1 clove garlic 1/2 a cucumber 1 tbsp chopped mint 1 tbsp chopped parsley 1/2 a lemon olive oil pita to serve Method continued in the comments #Flora #TheStartOfSomethingBetter
