@emiliamariehome: More info in the caption on how we made these painted pumpkin mini candles 🎃🕯️ I’ve linked our candle-making supplies in my bio, outside of the pumpkins and carving tools, which you can find at most grocery / hardware stores! I walk through these in the video, but including some more details below on the steps we followed: - Carefully carve a small opening in the top of each pumpkin and scoop out the insides. The tiny orange pumpkins were definitely the trickiest, so get a variety of little pumpkins in case some are extra stubborn! - Paint the outside with acrylic paint and let it dry. - Prepare a double boiler on the stove to melt the beeswax pellets. I highly recommend using a heat-safe container with a spout—we learned that lesson the messy way! It took us about 15 minutes of slow heating until the pellets became fully liquified. - Pour a small amount of beeswax into the center of the candle and stick in the aluminum end of your wick (you can also dip, but we found that it was a bit tricky for it to stick at first). - Thread the wick through the provided popsicle sticks in the set and straighten. - Give the wick a few minutes to set, and then pour the beeswax into your candle (we filled about 3/4 of the way up). Since these decay over time, you could also just fill up halfway if you don’t plan to burn them for long. And sadly yes, these will not last for more than a few days since they are real pumpkins, but they are such a cute little craft to get into the fall spirit or to make special for a party! If you want them to last a bit longer, you could skip the candle making and just paint, which is also fun too!
