Howdy :
Every time I think I’m worthless, I remember the girl in target who told me I would look cute in a top I was about to put back, and the boy who rushed to open the locked door for me when we were both late to class, and the old women who casually looped me into her conversation when they saw me looking anxious at the bus stop, and the little girl who dropped her cookie to help me pick up change after I dropped my wallet, and the middle aged man who offered me his umbrella during a sudden downpour that I was illy prepared for, and the family friend who took my camera so I could be in the group photos I was taking. I think of all the little things people have done for me that they’ve almost certainly forgotten but have impacted me greatly and I try to be that person to someone else. I don’t know if I’ve succeeded, I don’t think I’ll ever have done enough, but I try. Every day, I try.
