Very on point; he wanted to fly me out to another city, but we live 22 hours away from each other, so it made it a bit easier to walk away. I am an empath, but I am also a dark empath. He would give me hints here and there, and I did mention certain things; when I had already put the pieces together in my mind without him pouring his own cup over, it deeply saddened me. I could literally feel his intense pain because I had gone through somewhat of a similar pain; instead, I chose the path of light. It is sad what childhood trauma can do to an individual, how a lifetime of damage causes ripple effects. I gave him light, and I know he is already going through it—the five stages of grief along with the dark night of the soul. I really do hope many people can heal from their inner wounds; it takes a lot of courage to love yourself, but finding yourself is not an easy journey, yet it is worth it. Peace and love.
