I always felt so bad for Big Mom, all she truly wanted was a family and to be loved and she never got that. she was abused, tortured, and manipulated by Streusen. he groomed her into being evil and lied to her about what really happened to her friends and Mother Carmel. (Mother Carmel also abused her) Yes, Big Mom had the body of a giant but the mind and heart of a child. as she got older, the more Streusen groomed and abused her mentally the more she desired control, and love via intimidation. when she lost her memory during Wano, we truly got to see the person she really was which was a selfless child who beat the shit out of Queen, broke into Udon prison for Red Bean Soup and her reasoning was to feed the people back at the village who fed her when they had nothing to feed themselves. I'm not excusing her actions, but Big Mom isn't evil, nor is she a bad person. she has a pure heart, with a fucked up brain.
