I live in the county where Brock Turner was convicted, and the judge gave him a slap on the wrist. Judge Aaron Persky defied the probation department and prosecutor's recommendation of a long prison term. The public was outraged, so we had a recall election that removed Persky from the bench. Brock Turner now goes by Allen Turner and is on Ohio, a life-time registered sex offender.
