@madeformorewithgwen: I know how it feels to love teaching… but wonder how much longer you can keep doing it. I know how it feels to be exhausted, overwhelmed, and still feel like quitting isn’t financially an option. I wanted more breathing room. I wanted more control over my income. I wanted to know that if I ever decided I was done teaching, I wouldn’t feel trapped by a paycheck. And I realized I had 3 options: 1️⃣ Keep doing what I was doing and hope something changed. 2️⃣ Quit teaching without having another income to fall back on. 3️⃣ Start building another source of income while I’m still teaching — so one day, I actually have a choice. I chose #3. Not because I have everything figured out. But because I don’t want to wake up a few years from now wishing I had started sooner. So I’m building something Beyond the Classroom. 🍎 I’m learning how to create income outside of my teaching job so that eventually, staying in the classroom can be a choice — not something I have to do because I need the paycheck. And I’m sharing the journey here. If you’re another teacher thinking… “I don’t know if I can do this forever, but I can’t afford to just quit…” You’re exactly who I created this page for. 🫶🏼 Follow along. We’re building the option before we need it. 🍎📱 #teachertok #teachersoftiktok #teacherlife #teacherburnout
