LPT: if you want a funky shape that "tiles" perfectly: 1. Take a square 2. Carve out a wobbly bit along the edge of the square 3. Stick the wobbly bit on the opposite edge. 4. You can line up your new shape and it will fit into itself (b/c the negative space and positive space are shaped the same) if you want the math of it, look up "tiling the plane" and "tesselation" but anyhoo you have the formula so have fun.
