honestly a pretty accurate estimation of what would probably happen, because Subaru can't clearly win in 1v1, and assuming Subaru can't use anyone from his own verse, that's probably the best thing he could do, because it's not like Subaru can't win when given infinite attempts.

I used to think Subaru is never beating Goku but I forgot the dragon balls exist so he can find those over his loops. If it’s a straight up 1v1 he’s never winning. Also idk what pride Subaru has that envy doesn’t but maybe he’s stronger idk. Envy Subaru only has a chance with no prep time by some chance Reinhard was nearby and has the divine protection of beating Goku 😭
