Okay so I’m Christian, God speaks to me but it’s not voices, it’s like thoughts, sorta. Like sometimes I feel the need to pray for someone, it’s a thought. If I feel a pull towards something good for me and others I feel like it’s God pulling me toward it. I don’t know if that’s how it’s ’biblically’ supposed to be but I’m more of a spiritual person than following a set of rules from a church..

It’s a feeling. Not an actual audible voice. An instinct to do something. I’m in recovery. One day I was so close to drinking, I asked God, please tell me I can’t drink this. and my friend texted me legit 1 minute later at 9pm at night. She never even uses her phone past 8. ((She’s 62 lol)) She said she just got a random instinct and felt she HAD to check in with me. I got chills and knew something exists.

as a pagan ill explain. when we say "ask the gods if you can do this spell" or something, we dont HEAR god talking obviously. we open up our minds to the answer, ask the question to whatever energy is there and whatever instant feeling we get internally is the answer. a good feeling is a YES. anxiety or a bad feeling is a huge NO. if nothing, you should probably decide.

I’m not religious but I got a weird one for you : my neighbor was a recovering alcoholic and was about to take his last 5$ to get some kind of drink from the supermarket like a shooter of fireball or something small yk and he stops himself and says that god told him to get milk and take it to this specific address so he got a gallon of milk instead of a drink and he drove out and took it to this random ass house and when he knocked on the door and told the man who opened the door that god had told him to bring him milk, the man broke down in tears, thanking him becuase his baby had recently run out of formula and he could give the baby the gallon of milk until he could afford more formula. Idk how much I believe it but as a child who had been indoctrinated into the Christian scheme it sounded like a miracle but now In my more reasonable state it sounds more like a tale to tell kids
