@madeformorewithgwen: I used to carry my teaching job home with me every single day. The emails. The unfinished work. The guilt. The constant feeling that I should be doing more. And somewhere along the way, being a teacher stopped being something I did and started becoming who I was. I don’t want that anymore. I want to be a great teacher AND have a life that belongs to me. I want to leave work without feeling guilty. I want an income that isn’t completely dependent on my teaching salary. And most of all, I want to know that if the day comes when I’m ready to walk away from the classroom… I have the option to. That’s why I’m building something beyond it. 🍎 Not because I stopped caring about teaching. Because I finally realized I need to start building a life that doesn’t revolve around it. If you’re a teacher who wants more for yourself too, follow along. 🫶🏼 This is Beyond the Classroom — and I’m just getting started. #teachertok #teachersoftiktok #teacherlife #teacherburnout #tiktokteacher

As an educator who is obsessed with visits to the place this carpet resides, YES!! I will get to see this carpet a week from Thursday and counting down the days even if it’s only a long weekend.
