I think what Jeongyo wanted most was for Pi-o to understand and feel what he had been going through. And because he felt like Pi-o didn’t understand him, that disappointment turned into anger. But I think in episode 11, when he finally sees how deeply Pi-o actually felt his pain, he’ll realize that Pi-o really did understand him all along. And I think being truly understood by someone is also one of the clearest ways of realizing that they genuinely love and care about you. Jeongyo will feel this in 11.

jeongyo is broken and angry that the person whom he relied on and cared about the most basically his only family did this but i feel like he'd never 100% believe pio actually did it but this scene when jeongyo changes his look makes him start to realise that pio might not have anything to do with it...but pio is on another level of self hatered and depression...oh my babies🥺

I believe Jeong wanted the piece to be played with emotions of fear—fear of death and betrayal—as well as anger. Since Jeong held pio responsible for all of that, he was certain Pyo would be unable to play it that way—for he truly wanted to break him—yet Pyo surprised him with a performance that perfectly mirrored Jeong's own feelings

The fear Pio initially feel when Jeongyo did not arrive at the competition and when he heard the news about Jeongyo. Fear and Anxiety.. The fact that Jeongyo told him detail by detail of what he dealt at that time. Pio pictured it and made him feel fear and anxiety again, how he lost his friend for 9 long years.
