I truly don’t know how to put yesterday into words. The line started an hour before we opened, and by the time we unlocked the doors, more than 100 people were waiting. It wrapped all the way around the block and down Sherman Street. Seeing that many people show up before we had even opened was a moment I will never forget. Then the doors opened, and the store that was once one giant, empty space was suddenly completely filled with people shopping, laughing, and experiencing this dream alongside me. More than 1,000 shoppers came through our doors throughout the day. There were so many moments when I had to step back, look around, and remind myself that this was real. This is my store. We actually did it. There were so many tears, hugs, kind words, and thoughtful gifts from people welcoming us into our new home. I felt so incredibly loved today. Thank you to everyone who waited in line, remained patient and understanding while we worked through the crowds, shopped with us, and celebrated this huge moment with me. None of this would have been possible without the people who helped me bring this space to life. Amber and Mitchell, my grandpa, and my husband Lucas gave so much of their time, energy, talent, and love to help turn an empty building into the store I had imagined. I will never be able to fully express how grateful I am for everything they did to get us here. And to every customer who has shopped with me, shared my posts, encouraged me, told a friend about Swansorifinds, or supported this dream in any way, thank you. You are the reason my little business has been able to grow into something bigger than I ever imagined. Yesterday was magical, emotional, overwhelming, and completely surreal. We opened the doors to my dream store, and more than 1,000 of you walked through them and filled every inch of the space with love. My heart is so full. I will carry the feeling of yesterday and my gratitude for this community with me forever. Thank you for giving me a grand opening beyond anything I could have dreamed of. 🥹❤️🦢
