@thaspookycorner: UTMB's Galveston is one of the creepiest hospitals I been too, Its very easy to get lost. Ewing Hall has a ghostly face on its exterior wall that won't go away. Legend says it belongs to a fisherman who refused to sell his land to the university — after he died and UTMB got the property anyway, his face started appearing on the building's tiles. Crews have sandblasted and painted over it multiple times, but it keeps coming back, sometimes on a different panel. Students call it "The UTMB Ghost" or just "The Face." Spooky bonus: it's clearest from the water, so people take the Haunted Harbor boat tour to see it. #spooky #fyp #galveston #hauntedplaces
just FYI all hospitals are haunted but YES Galveston is terrifying! Take a hike over to the prison hospital... talk about creepy AF!!

the scariest part is the old morgue.. I've entered the room plenty of times feeling like something was watching me, freezers full of unclaimed babies, bodies on top of each other. in the coolers.. it was a heavy weight pushing me down..

Yes i used to work graveyard shift in the ER and later operating rooms. I can confirm spiritual energy in some areas of the hospital. Never was afraid of any of it just thought it was pretty cool to have experienced it for myself. One time i had to go to the basement by myself to get medical supplies. While I was in the storage unit things began to fly off the shelves, not fall, but fly off lol I started laughing and told the spirit that was there ( because you could actually feel the heaviness in the air and the energy in the room) told it thanks for trying to help me find things in there but i wasn’t going to pick up the mess lol happened about two more times that i went down there after that i figured it got got used to me because it didn’t happen to me again. A co worker didn’t believe it so I had to show her. Took her down there and sure enough the spirit started acting up in front of her and threw stuff at her off the shelves lol she ran out saying oh hell no! Lmaooo. I have many more incidents that happened in other parts of the hospital but nobody might want to hear it. Never really been afraid of the paranormal or has it bothered me.

both my parents worked in the building that had the face. Old rumor was that people have died trying to get a glimpse. one person allegedly drove off the edge and into the water while looking up, not realizing how close she was. I spent a lot of days during the summer wandering around (when not able to watch videos on a computer in an empty office or play games on my DS) and whenever I was alone outside the offices in the main halls, I always got that weird feeling that makes you want to speed up and get tf outta where you're at.

Worked there 30 plus years. Started in SPD and went to the OR and L&D. Night shift is the creepiest. 3 am the halls get bone chilling cold. I’ve seen and heard things that would normally creep you out but for some reason it doesn’t bother me. I’ve had a few patients that have died on the operating room table and maybe their spirit never left. Employees have passed and their spirit keeps coming to work because it doesn’t realize it’s dead. We spend more time at work than we do with our families so it seems right that when we pass we don’t know we are dead.

Out of all the hallways I’ve roamed at UTMB, the most “creepy” or off putting ones are in Rebecca Sealy. And then Old Red for sure. But here’s a hallway!
