All the videos I’ve seen don’t do justice. I live just about 2-3 miles from the launch site. I’m from Port Isabel, born and raised 47 years and counting! We didn’t choose this! It chose us and now we’re having to deal with its consequences! Out floor tile has cracked, picture frames fallen and broken, light fixtures falling off, etc.

I wonder how this impacts the wildlife? Especially if launches will become more frequent.

Over time vibrations like this can back out the nails that hold your house together, not to mention settle your foundation. This is unacceptable.

luckily, in Louisiana where elong is building the next enormous launch facility, the state has been gracious enough to pass a law that no homeowner can sue spacex for damage to homes during a launch. isn't that special.

It’s not just the windows 😳 that whole wall is wibbly wobbly! Do you guys have to take everything off walls and shelves every time they do this? Is NASA going to compensate you when that wall comes down? I don’t think I could handle this. I’m just soft like that.

That’s hard on everything in the house. If you used any nails building that house, they will pull out. Screws will unscrew… Drywall will crack. Everything will basically get loose. Plumbing fixtures cannot take this level of vibration. And electrical could be the end of your home and many others in the area. Overtime, any electrical wire that is rubbing against something mildly sharp, or even blunt will eventually break through the wire coating. Then that wire will arc… Then you will have a fire. It’s just a matter of time. Every electrician will tell you that all buildings vibrate… But this is at a whole new level. 🫤
