@metaphysiko: I always look behind me when I’m home alone. I don’t know when it started. Maybe it was because the house gets completely silent at night. One night, I was washing dishes around midnight. The only sound was the water running. Then I heard a creak behind me. I turned around. Nothing. I went back to washing the dishes. Another creak. This time, closer. I turned around again. Still nothing. I laughed nervously and told myself it was the house settling. Then I heard something outside. Three slow knocks against the kitchen window. I froze. I slowly looked over. Nothing was there. I went back to the sink. Then my phone buzzed. A text from my mom. Why do you keep turning around? I stared at the message. I typed back: What do you mean? She replied: I’m watching you from the living room. My stomach dropped. I turned around. The living room was empty. Then another message appeared. Don’t turn around again. I stopped breathing. Because I could hear footsteps behind me. Very slowly walking across the kitchen. My mom texted again. I’m not in the living room. The footsteps stopped directly behind me. Then someone whispered, “Why do you keep looking for me?” I didn’t turn around. But I could see its reflection in the dark kitchen window. Before my grandad was home alone and my aunts and uncles and mum was out and ex wife was out aswell so he was just doing the dishes then he heard something behind him so he turned around and nothing was there and he kept on hear noises and his name being called ai he went to check and he house was empty

And then we decided to go and eat on my houses balcony. Next to our home is a fence separating us from the woods. My friend saw a cabin in the mountain.
