the statement is false—this is not the only correct way to solve a cube. however, this way of solving is really inefficient, and is not advisable. it is better to master your fundamentals (fingertricks, recognition), and develop your lookahead. in the meantime let go of the hand that is restraining you from getting good solves if you want to show off.
