@bookswithdenise7: My book comes out next year which means you’ll get to meet these two very soon and in the meantime be on the lookout because I’ll be opening the beta reader form on October 29!! - What is my book about ? The Lake of Embers is about a princess who is sent on a quest to find an enchanted lake. And though she usually travels alone her king father demands that she be accompanied by a group of people of his choice: a spy, a philosopher and her childhood rival, the prince of Caelumn, as well as her half-sister Marielle (who wasn’t chosen by the king but joined the crew nonetheless.). The enchanted lake is practically a myth and no one who has said to have found it is alive to tell the tale. Now, with the Princess’ brother closer to death himself due to an incurable illness the time is ticking and the lake is their only hope to save the twelve-year old boy. The journey although treacherous is the only way. And in order to get there the princess will have to trust her crew. The only problem is that two out of five cannot fend for themselves and the princess wonders how she’ll manage to focus on the journey ahead when she has four potential casualties slowing her down.
