Wrong. When you’ve built your platform completely around your family, relationships and marriage you absolutely owe the people who got you to where you are an explanation. I’m not saying in detail but a simple “yes this is true and I’ll talk when I’m ready” will suffice. You would be nowhere without the following that you have. When you choose to dedicate your page/s to your relationship and family values and that completely switches you owe your supporters that bit of an explanation.

It’s actually really interesting to me how many people seem to think they’re entitled to know! Like, couldn’t they just make their own assumptions if someone’s content or circumstances seem to have changed? 😂 Why do they NEED the person to officially announce it or explain themselves? I do wonder if some of this is generational, particularly with Gen Z having grown up in a much more online, parasocial environment where creators are expected to be really transparent about their lives. There seems to be this expectation that if people have followed you for years, they’ve somehow earned the right to know what’s happening behind the scenes. It’s interesting!
