❤️Go ahead — call me selfish. Say that I ask for too much. Say that I should be content with whatever pieces of you you’re willing to offer. Because the truth is, I won’t apologise for wanting every single part of you. I want all of your love. Every bit of it. Every corner of your heart, every quiet thought, every tender feeling you have to give. I don’t want a share — I want the whole thing. It’s not that I’m greedy in a way that takes from you — I’m greedy in a way that longs for us to be everything to each other. I don’t want to be one of the important people in your life. I want to be the important person. I want to be the first one you think of when something wonderful happens. I want to be the one you run to when things feel heavy. I want to be the one whose hand you reach for without even looking. I want it to be all about us. Just me and you alone. Not sharing your time, not sharing your heart, not competing for your attention. I want our world to feel like it’s just the two of us — where nothing and no one comes before what we have. I want us to be each other’s first choice, every single time — not because we have to be, but because we want to be more than anything else. People might say that’s too much to ask. They might tell you I should be more reasonable, more understanding, more willing to share. But how can I be reasonable when it comes to loving you? How can I be content with “some” when loving you makes me feel like I’ve found everything? When you love someone the way I love you — you don’t want to stand in line for their affection. You want to be the only one standing there, waiting to catch every bit of love they have to give. It’s not that I want to shut the rest of the world out — it’s just that I want us to be our favourite place to return to. I want the moments we share to feel like our own little sanctuary, where it’s just your heart and mine speaking the same language. I want to know that when the day is done, and everything and everyone else fades away — I’m the one you want beside you. That’s not selfishness — that’s just love that has no intention of shrinking itself down to fit into a smaller space. If loving you completely, fully, and without holding anything back makes me selfish — then I will happily wear that label. Because I believe that what we have deserves to be cherished completely.
