I agree, but I think you can also be a kind hearted person w/ very serious boundaries… I don’t say this to sound cool but, I truly can’t recall a time someone took advantage of me in a relationship or a friendship. I credit that to my parents. We were taught to say NO. I will say no as quickly as I blink. I don’t treat anyone mean… I show up being kind & helpful, but EVERYONE who meets me or knows me knows I won’t do what I don’t want to do & I will never compromise my values or morals for anyone. I will smile while saying no. & if u dnt like it … I will lovingly let u go. The key is to know yourself & never idol relationships.
